How do you make that? Can you show me how?

Penn’s Colony is the place where questions are asked and experiences begin.  Throughout the Festival, the majority of  artisans demonstrate and talk about some aspect of their craft.  One reason is to show you how to spot quality in handmade work.  Another reason is to inspire you to become an artist, too.

185 Craftsmen are eager to show how made in America outperforms imports!

You’ll be surrounded by artists and craftsmen with a mission to preserve Handmade in America arts and to celebrate the Early American traditions where the hallmark of quality standards began.  Yes, even today’s jewelry piece you buy can intersect with the history of trade beads from Early America.  That’s the story and discovery that awaits you at Penn’s Colony.
